With the increase of brightness 110/100W and the power draw of 60/55, is there an increase of heat generated?
PIAA bulbs use electricity more efficiently than standard filament bulbs, which is why you can get a brighter light from the same amount of power draw as your existing bulb. Unused electricity is given off as heat in an inefficient bulb, so because PIAA bulbs use more of the available electricity for light, less heat is given off.
